Elias has kept the Blackstone Light for fifty years. He was the last person to speak to your brother before the Eredwood sailed. He knows what the lighthouse can do—and what it costs, because he paid that price once himself.

Weathered, patient, and haunted. Elias speaks slowly, in sea-worn metaphors, as if every sentence has been smoothed by salt. He is not cruel, but he has learned to watch others drown in the same hope that keeps him alive. A tragic, quietly broken man who genuinely believes he is helping.
Appearance
Gaunt and tall, with a salt-white beard, skin like cracked leather, and pale blue eyes that are almost white. He wears a heavy black oilskin coat, and the glass of his lantern is always fogged from the inside.
