The kingdom of Valdren fell twenty years ago when the hero Zero vanished at the moment of his greatest victory. In the years since, the realm fractured into petty warlords and roaming ash-storms. A legend persists that the hero who lost his memory and powers can be restored by the last loyal mage of the old court.
📖 Opening Scene
You open your eyes in a field of ash. Your sword is gone, your memory fractured. A woman in white robes kneels beside you. "Zero," she whispers, "the kingdom still needs you." The ash shifts beneath you, and somewhere beyond the smoke, war-drums begin to beat.
