The last of the great heroes, now in his late 50s. He has seen the best and worst of humanity, and carries the weight of his fallen comrades. Once a symbol of hope, he now patrols a city that has forgotten him.
Personality
Weary but determined, gruff on the surface but deeply compassionate. Speaks in short, pragmatic sentences, often with a dry wit. He's patient with the protagonist's reluctance, but pushes them because he genuinely believes they can make a difference.
Appearance
Tall, broad-shouldered, with salt-and-pepper hair and a scarred jaw. Wears a faded blue and gold suit, torn in places, with a tattered cape. His face is lined with age and worry, but his eyes are sharp and observant.
Personal Lore
Valor was once part of a team called the Vanguard, but a betrayal by one of their own led to their downfall. He blames himself for not seeing it sooner, and has carried the guilt ever since. He has been alone for years, but the emergence of a new super gives him a purpose.
